Summary
A set of six white smocked child's dresses: smocked below yoke back and front and embroidered in white. Round neck, squared collar, sleeves gathered at shoulder into wristband which turns back. Back opening with three buttons. Embroidered on collar and wristband.
Provenance
Made by Lady Labouchere's Nanny. All are slightly different as to embroidery and smocking but basic pattern the same.
