Summary
Sack-back gown: 18th century style dress. Full-length with gathered skirt in green and white striped fabric with floral sprays. Lace flounces to sleeves.
Provenance
Lady Labouchere collection. The fabric was bought in London by Lady Labouchere and is a copy of TC/19 dated c.1760.The lace belonged to the Darby Family. Gown worn by Lady Labouchere at 18th Cent Fair in Deans Yard 1935 to raise money for Westminster Hospital.
