Summary
A set of three pieces of fabric: upholstery to chair. Undyed linen warp and crimson, mid and pale pink and ivory silk cut velvet pile warp. Green/gold and silver grey silk and metal thread wefts. Warp cut velvet ground compound weft faced motifs. Renaissance design.
Provenance
Burley on the Hill - Pratts, London. There was just one of the chairs covered in this fabric which Lady Labouchere removed c.1969.
