Summary
Rectangular cot cover: central checquered panel of 15 red and white cotton squares, embroidered with star motifs. Outer red border with corner squares. Embroidered 'M' in centre. Outer floral tatting border. Embroidered in opposing red and white linen threads in stem, satin, laid, french knots and feather stitch. Stylised flower head motif. Cream linen torchen bobbin lace edging 5.5 cm.
