Full description
Jack Ludlow Northeast (1909-1969) was a painter and illustrator, born in Leytonstone, East London. He studied at Winchester School of Art and the Southern College of Art, Southampton during the early 1930’s. He is the author of 'With an Artist in Winchester' pub.1967. This print depicts a scene of two women bathing in the race beneath Winchester City Mill, teathered with ropes to prevent being swept away.
