Summary

A satin birch collector's cabinet, English, circa 1900. With fifteen drawers enclosed by twin locking bars and standing on a plinth base, the contents of the drawers including shells, agates, marbles and fossils, all neatly annotated and numbered with handwritten labels.

Provenance

Part of the Hussey collection. The contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 2006 by Mrs. Elizabeth Hussey.
