Summary
Loose undated letter located between pages 52 and 53 of baby record book. Handwritten in black ink, from Christopher Hussey to his mother, Mary Ann Hussey. On one sheet of headed letter paper folded once with the address, 'Agsacre, North Berwick, N.B.' printed in black ink in the top right corner. Letter reads, 'My dear mother, it is not so hot to-day. I did not go to church. We went to the Law yesterday My mustard and cress is so big I am going to have it for tea today. I have made a nice path in my garden. From your loving Christopher'. On fourth side, handwritten in pencil, 'MAMA'.
Provenance
Part of the Hussey collection. The contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 2006 by Mrs. Elizabeth Hussey.
