Full description
Anthony Salvin appears to have used models quite frequently to explain his proposals to clients. The models for the Trafford Mausoleum and Mamhead were exhibited at the Royal Academy. Thomas Dighton (1799-1882) later described himself as 'Architectural Modeller to Her Majesty and Prince Albert' and also exhibited at the Great Exhibition in 1851. Part of the Hussey collection. The contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 2006 by Mrs. Elizabeth Hussey.
