A bronze and gilt-brass mantel clock on easel support, the circular brass-faced dial with Roman numerals contained within a case modelled as a caparisoned elephant with rider on a rectangular naturalistic plinth ending in shell-cast scroll feet with original Elliot key. Part of the Imperial range circa 1934 from F W Elliott Ltd. Croydon, movement no.3675.It uses an ABEC escapement manufactured by Smiths.
