Summary
A simulated rosewood chaise longue or daybed, English, circa 1820. With squab seat and bolsters, each end over-scrolled, the show-wood of the head-end with ribbed decoration and rosette detail, standing on sabre legs headed with brass floral mounts and terminating in lion's paw cappings and castors.
Provenance
Part of the Hussey collection. The contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 2006 by Mrs. Elizabeth Hussey.
