Summary
A satin birch, simulated bamboo and ebony-inlaid four-tier whatnot, English, circa 1820. The upper tier with three-quarter brass gallery, the other tiers each with a ledge-back, above two cedar-lined drawers with leopard mask handles, standing on ring-turned tapering legs.
Provenance
Part of the Hussey collection. The contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 2006 by Mrs. Elizabeth Hussey.
