Summary
A satin birch and oak fitted linen press, probably designed by Anthony Salvin, circa 1842-1844. Enclosed by a pair of oak-framed doors with satin birch panels, each door with four panels, the lower section with two short and three long drawers, all with yew knob handles, standing on a plinth.
Provenance
Part of the Hussey collection. The contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 2006 by Mrs. Elizabeth Hussey.
