The first of six visiting albums made by Christopher and Betty Hussey during their visit to country houses throughout Great Britain. This album was compiled during 1936 and was a revival of his mothers visiting book. They were a record of his research used in his country life magazine articles. They show a unique snapshot of country life in the 1920’s.

Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Mr Christopher Hussey in 1970, subject to the life interest of his widow.
