Summary
A silver alms dish/platter with an embossed round motif of Christ on the Cross (dressed) surrounded by his members of the armed forces, by W. Herbert Durst. Commisioned in 1929 by John Louis Behrend (1881-1972) and (Phyllis) Mary Sandham, Mrs Behrend (1884-1977). For the work, J.L. Behrend was billed for 6500 Lire on 4 July 1930.
