Summary
Curd separator, used at Black Lion Farm, Heapey during the latter part of the 19th c; zinc cylinder with perforated cover; standing in a wooden trough with iron handle for turning the cylinder and four iron wheels, tap at the bottom; milk was poured into the cylinder and hot water into the trough by turning the cylinder the curds were separated from the whey.
