Summary
Carved oak high dresser on cabriole legs, c.1900; the upper section with two cupboards and central recess of three shelves, united by a breakfront ogee cornice and Vitruvian scroll frieze; the base with one short drawer between two longer drawers above a scrolled apron; elaborate foliate carving to the drawer fronts; carved acanthus panels (a short one above a taller one) on each cupboard door; scrolling brass H hinges, escutcheons and swan-neck handles. Medium oak colour with darker carving.
