Breech-loading pistol (Warnant system) made from a “cut-down” rifle, Liege(?) c1890. Octagonal, cut down from full size, the breech with a lift-up breech block for loading. Extractor lever. Unidentified mark at breech. Retained to the stock by 1 screw. Barrel length 22cm. Calibre .22. Wooden stock cut down from rifle size. Steel trigger guard of unusual form. Steel receiver containing the single-action hammer and lock mechanism, the whole partly concealed by the stock. Overall length: 41.2 cm
