Summary
Englishman's pocket diary yearbook by Alexa Peckover, 1908. London: H.W.Crane & Co. Contents: Yearly almanac/diary. Occasional penciled notations regarding expenses, travel notes. Plain black leather cover. Front cover has centre edge flap which extends to back cover and tucks under a strap. Gilt page edges. Inside cover flap is sleeve for missing pencil. White round sticker on bottom right front: "Alexa 1908, 14", "notes to remember" page identifies owner. "Alexandrina Peckover, Bank House Wisbech" in penciled script. Cover condition is very poor. Front inside cover so torn that it hangs. Inside opening are three small sheets of paper: 2 foreign receipts and one slip with penciled figures (money reckoning). Box 17C
