Summary
The ladies annual diary and almanack by Eliza Sharples, 1852. Diary entries regarding family, friends, visits, her spiritual progress. "Teaches school" about an hour or two almost daily. Letter is front pocket from her Aunt Fisher (Leamington) congratulates her for forming a "ragged school" for poor children (11th of 12 mo 1851). Maroon leather cover. Front flap extends to back and tucks under flap. Stickers "1852" and "ES, 12, 1852" on front. "Eliza Sharples, Hitchin" inside. Gilt edged pages. Box 17A
