Summary
Octagonal display table, with display of shells. Late 19th-century-early 20th-century. Mahogany, glazed. On turned column pedestal with 4 arched supports at top and 3 splayed legs on brass castors. Shell display has a central design in form of flowers with outer border of shells. Possibly a sailor's Valentine gift. The octagonal top previously sat on a hexagonal support.
