Three-quarter-length portrait seated, in black suit, red Cambridge* LL.D gown, wearing Order (Queen Victoria’s(?) Head, suspended from ribbon of dark blue stripe between light blue). Engraved by the Printing Arts Co Ltd, London WC. With 2 pencil signatures pasted on bottom - Algernon Peckover l.l. and J. Doyle Penrose l.r. Printed label under the old dust seal, partially visible before conservation.
