Summary

One of a pair, octagonal baluster shaped silver gilt candlestick in the form of a scent bottle. The body finely chased with shell, scroll and lattice decoration, the nozzle engraved with the Villier's family crest, the nozzle screws in and are reversible. Part of travelling set.

Jersey bequest, March 1993.
