Summary
Three carved and gilded wooden window cornices. Scrolling pier and acanthus leaves. These three curtain cornices would have been intended to harmonise with the overmantle by Linnell, perhaps worked up from a design by Chambers. Linnell is also likely to have been the maker of them., But it is now suggested, 1981, that they may originally have been for the Drawing Room by Chambers and relegated to Mrs Child's Dressing Room by Adam,
