Summary
Sauce tureen of lobed rectangular section, with cover, stand and ladle, one of two sauce tureens, from an English partial 46-piece dinner service, ironstone, transfer printed under the glaze in blue with a Louis XV-style pattern, identified in the back stamp as the 'AYLMER' pattern, comprising two covered vegetable dishes, two tureens, covers, stands and ladles, two oval serving dishes 12 bread and butter plates, nine dessert plates and 11 dinner plates, printed marks of Bishop and Stonier, Hanley, Staffordshire, circa. 1891-1933.
