Summary
One of a pair of 'comports' or dishes or bread baskets, bone china, rectangular, with a carrying handle in the shape of a scallop shell at each end. Gilded and enameled decoration with a figure of a mounted horseman in a central circle, Davenport, Longport, Staffordshire, circa 1815-20.
