Summary
Slurry pump. Now ex-situ but may be the one that receives correctly sized particles from the Rake Classifier (NT/FCO21) in the form of a slurry (pulp) that it pumps via a plastic pipe to the Zinc Rougher Flotation Cells (NT/FCO24) on Floor 6. (See also NT/FCO55). Described by Leeson and Mead 1997 as 'Centrifugal pump chamber with inlet and outlet pipes. Casing extends to support drive shaft which has a four belt pulley at its end.' ... 'This could be the pump controlled by electricity distribution board near component 26 as circuit 11 labelled 'pump sump'.'
