Summary
Flotation cells for rough separation of Barytes ore. Receives the residue from the Rough zinc flotation cells (NT/FC026). Passes more concentrated solution to the Fine barytes flotation cells (NT/FC026). Steel tank with two flotation cells, with agitators inside. Each agitator driven by separate electric motor via three V belts. An additional motor drives wooden paddles via enclosed chain drive. Mounted on concrete base. Sparging pipe formed of square section tube. Wooden trough collects foam. Leeson and Mead 1997 state 'wood frame adjacent to inlet end may have held dosing equipment. No sign of inlet pipe.'
