Summary
Line and stipple engraving of a portrait of John Russell, 1st Earl Russell (1792-1878). Half-length portrait of a younger man looking right and holding a rolled up paper. The original painting was made during Russell's tenure as Home Secretary between 1835-1839. Engraved by James Morton after an original painting by Mr Walker. Part of a portfolio of engravings and copy photographs of members of the Russell and related families.
