Summary
An oak writing table, attributed to Heal and Son, London, circa 1930. Originally with a superstructure, fitted with five drawers around the kneehole and raised on square section legs.
Provenance
Formerly the property of Leonard and Virginia Wolf who purchased Monk's House in 1919. The original superstructure removed when the table was used in Trekkie Parson's (1902-1995) art studio. It subsequently passed to the Bell family who sold it to the National Trust circa 1985.
