Summary
A beech bentwood cantilever armchair, retailed by Heal & Co., London, circa 1930. With loose seat and back cushions, curved back frame. One of two bought by Virginia Woolf from Heals, the other chair given to Vanessa Bell and now at Charleston, Firle, near Lewes.
Provenance
Formerly the property of Leonard and Virginia Wolf who purchased Monk's House in 1919.
