Painted pottery lamp base, the body gently tapering from a bulbous base and divided into four rectangular panels running the length of the body, each decorated with blue and plum coloured brush strokes. Made especially for Monk's House by Quentin Bell Marked (inscribed) Fulham Pottery - Quentin Bell (impressed) a bell in a circle and FULHAM POTTERY. Carrying a paper shade contemporary with base and by same artist
