Summary
Drawing titled: “Renovation work at Cliveden House”. The info on the appendix to the 1990 lease gives the description: January 1986, in intense cold. The north front is undergoing repairs, part of the comprehensive work of the restoration of the house. In the foreground are cylindrical blocks of asphalt and the boiler in which they were melted before being laid on the roof. The pencil on paper drawing is close framed with glass glazing in a reverse bolection oak moulding with an inner slip frame painted black with a white scumble.
