Sculpture, white marble, Pedestal, the front panel inscribed. Surrounded by scrolling leaves among flower heads, the sides with low relief of birds and leaves. Top with two circular indents. On stepped base.
Provenance
Presented to the National Trust, with the house and grounds, by Waldorf, 2nd Viscount Astor (1879-1952) in 1942.
