Summary
Bronze sculpture on black rectangular plinth, Nancy Witcher Langhorne, Viscountess Astor CH, MP (1879-1964) by Jo Davidson (New York City 1883 - 1952), 1930. A portrait head, tranquil, half smiling face, her wavy hair back in very loose bun, with side parting on her right. Another casting of the same portrait, NT 765977, is also at Cliveden and in the Collections of the Historical Society of Virginia, USA.
