Bronze sculpture mounted on square black marble pediment, Nancy Witcher Langhorne, Viscountess Astor CH, MP (1879-1964) by Jo Davidson (New York City 1883 - 1952), 1930. A portrait head of Nancy, Lady Astor when older, with hair loose in demi-waves, she faces forward with slight smile. Another casting of the same portrait, NT 765982, is also at Cliveden (NT) and in the Collections of the Historical Society of Virginia, USA.
