One of a series of newspaper cuttings - miscellaneous items of interest to the family. Newspaper cutting from August 8, 1908. Article reads: ...just been launched, which are thought by some to be superior to the English ships of this class, and two more are now in process of construction, so that in a few years Germany will have a really powerful navy, which, for good or ill, will have to be reckoned with. There are many people, we know, who will attribute the apprehension that certainly exists in this country, to the impulsive people who are always in a state of excitement about something. ..............................................
