Summary
One of a series of newspaper cuttings - miscellaneous items of interest to the family. A newspaper cutting. Caption above: LEVERHULME RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS OPEN TO EXPERIENCED WORKERS The Advisory Committee which administers them invites applications for the Leverhulme Research Fellowships. These fellowships are intended for the assistance of experienced workers rather than that they should add to the provision already existing for workers in the early stages of their careers. The trustees have in mind particularly men and women who are prevented by pressure of routine duties or other cause from undertaking or completing an investigation of value. They have decided, as in 1933, that no limit shall be placed to the amount of individual grants, but that they shall be adjusted according to the circumstances of the case. Fellows will usually be required to work at or in connexion with a recognized centre of research, either at home or abroad. ............................... Handwritten in pencil at the bottom of the cutting '1934'? .
