Summary
A series of newspaper cuttings - miscellaneous items of interest to the family.The third piece of a newspaper article broken into three pieces kept with a note on the back of a piece of brown envelope. Headed: JUNE 24, 1927 The article continues '.... Why should I pay when other people have a road made? The CHAIRMAN: The Councillors who have spoken have done so because they are anxious to help legitimate building. At the same time, it is our duty to see that the ratepayers are safeguarded. Mr. NORMAN: It does not seem as if the plans are correct. The minutes were confirmed.
