Summary
A series of newspaper cuttings - miscellaneous items of interest to the family. The first piece of a newspaper article broken into three pieces kept with a note on the back of a piece of brown envelope. The article reads; 'A DISAPPROVED PLAN In moving the adoption of the report, Mr. RAINES referred to the Committee's decision to recommend the disapproval of the plan for a house in Blyth Grove for Mr. H. H. Oates, on the ground that the building of the house was contributory to the laying-out of a new street. It was only fair to assume in the near future, he said, that there would be a road running from Carlton Road to Kilton Road, and the Council should keep an eye on the matter. ......................................
