Summary
One of a series of newspaper cuttings from various positions in Endcliffe Villa, all pertaining to Local History - other than Worksop. Two photographs of the Blyth Almshouses which were due to be demolished published in the Worksop Guardian on 17th April 1959. 'BLYTH ALMSHOUSES TO GO THE six picturesque old alms- houses at Spital Blyth upon which Worksop Rural Council have made demolition orders. Strenuous efforts to pre- serve the cottages were unavail- ing. The lower picture shows the tablet on the front of the cot- tages.'
