Summary
One of a series of newspaper cuttings from various positions in Endcliffe Villa, all pertaining to Local History - other than Worksop. An article published in the Worksop Guardian on 25th November, 1955 concerning the exhumation and reburial of the remains of John Arthur in Whitwell Churchyard. 'Exhumation at Whitwell Wayfarers in Whitwell in the small hours were surprised to see lights in Whitwell Church- yard. These were carried by a party who exhumed the body of Jospeh Boaler Arthur, who died on the 18th December, 1953 and re-interred it in the grave of his wife, Jane Arthur, who died a month later. ...' '
