One of a series of newspaper cuttings from various positions in Endcliffe Villa, all pertaining to Local History - other than Worksop. An article published in The Sheffield Star on 2nd December 1950 about pheasant shooting based on the diaries of a local resident. (see J25 and J26) 'Peeps Into a Sportsman's Diary WHEN PUSS TURNS INTO A KILLER This is the third peep into the Shooting and Fishing book kept by the well-known Sheffield sportsman Mr. J. Cyril Lockwood. It tells of the pheasant drives at Fibeck which is now a miners' rest centre, and of visits to Norfolk and Ireland. ...'
