One of a series of newspaper cuttings from various positions in Endcliffe Villa, all pertaining to rights of way and footpaths Article published in the Worksop Guardian on 10th May 1957 ; 'A FOOTPATH The Town Clerk spoke with res- pect to the Council's refusal of an application from the Worksoop Manor Estates Ltd. for the diversion of the footpath No. 31. Tunnel Road, under Section 42 of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act, 1949. It was recalled that this application was supported by the Forestry Commission and the Farmers' Union. He reported that the ap -plicants had made representa- tions to the Ministry of Housing and Local Government, who had subsequently enquired the rea- sons and on what grounds the Council objected to the applica- tion. ...' '
