One of a series of newspaper cuttings from various positions in Endcliffe Villa, all pertaining to rights of way and footpaths Article published in the Worksop Guardian on 22nd March 1957; 'RIGHTS OF WAY It has now been conceded that there is no public right of way along the footpath from Lime Tree Avenue to Clumber Church or along the alleged bridle road in the neighbourhood of Clumber Church via Cabin Hill House and Clumber Timber Yard through Five Thorns Plantation and across the South Lawns, provid- ed it is agreed that the public have a right of way on the foot- path leading to the western ex- tremity of Clumber Lake through T ank Wood to the timber yard. The National Trust, who now own the estate which is open for public enjoyment, disputed rights of way over certain of the footpaths.'. '
