One of a series of newspaper cuttings from various positions in Endcliffe Villa, all pertaining to rights of way and footpaths. Letter published in The Times of 28th October 1937; 'FOOTPATHS AND BRIDLE ROADS' 'TO THE EDITOR OF THE TIMES Sir - Your correspondent from Kent raises an important question. It is the duty of the town plan- ning authority to include in the scheme which it pre- pares all public rights of way. If this work is effect- ively done future generations will have a safeguard of their interests comparable to that of the existing enclosure awards that set out public rights of way over land which was formerly common land.....'.
