Article published in the Worksop Guardian on 6th July1956; 'PUBLIC FOOTPATHS IN WORKSOP Yes : Tunnel Road No : Farm Lane 'Rights of Way in worksop and district were discussed by Worksop Borough Council at their meeting on Monday night, .with the Mayor (Coun. A.J. eastland, J.P.) in the chair. It was stated that Tunnel Road, leading to Welbeck Abbey, was now admitted to be a public footpath, but not castle Farm Lane or seven paths on the Clumber Park estate. The Town Clerk (Mr. W.A. Wil- liams) said information had been received from the County Counsil with regard to rights of way under the provisions of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act. ..'
