Summary
The third of five pieces of newspaper, stacked between the bottom platter plate and the crockery on top, in the linen cupboard used by the family as a food cupboard. A piece of newspaper torn from a local publication in November 1940; 'It is estimated that over 600 Worksop men are now serving with the Forces.' 'Five bombed out babies were amongst the 129 children admitted last month to Dr. barnardo's homes whose family of 8,250 now includes 407 boys and girls admitted as a result of the war.'
