Summary
Christmas greeting card - made of textured turquoise card folded horizontally into three and with a dark blue edge. Front: the front flap is cut diagonally and has the words 'With Hearty Christmas Greetings' printed in gold at the right hand side. On the left side is a coloured picture mainly in dark blue and pink of a window below which is a shelf. Arranged on the shelf are books, a flower arrangement and a bird, which, is sitting on an ornament. Inside the card is a separate piece of the turquoise card with gold borders. It is held in place by two tabs of the outer card. On it is a drawing of holly leaves and a swallow. The verse and text are printed in black ink "May Joy in every way Be yours this Happy Day." Glad be your journey, sweet be its ways, Joyous the present and all the future days; Many more wishes I send on the wing, Trusting a song in your heart they will sing. With Sincere and Hearty Greetings for Christmas and all Happiness throughout the New Year. Signed in black ink From Mr & Mrs Buttery Rear of the card is blank.
