Summary
Christmas Greetings Card Right hand opening card Front: A gold embossed music score runs across the middle of the card with the word REMEBRANCE instead of musical notes. Green and gold ivy leaves run vertically through the score. There is a red and old embossed border at the bottom of the card. Inside the card is a folded paper insert the front page of which reads: "The joy of hearts in touch be yours to-day" Copyright A Happy CHRISTMAS AND A BRIGHT NEW YEAR TO YOU from: written in black ink Jimmy to Flossie On the right hand page on the inside of the insert is a black and white print showing 2 herons and a pond or stream. The card surround is embossed with a floral sprig. The rear page of the insert shows an easel trademark with the words TRADEMARK printed underneath. Under this is printed PUBLISHERS BY APPOINMENT TO THEIR MAGESTIES THE KING AND QUEEN ALEXANDRA At the bottom of the card is printed RAPHAEL TUCK & SONS, LTD. LONDON, PARIS, NEW-YORK DESIGNED AT THE STUDIOS I ENGLAND AND PRINTED AT THE FINE ART WORKS IN BAVARIA The rear of the card itself is blank. The paper insert and the card were originally held together by a gold ribbon. It has become detached from the card.
