Front - right opening card, a picture of a steam yacht on the Manchester Ship Canal in 1894 Inside left - white card printed in the centre of the left hand side in black ink: MANCHESTER SHIP CANAL Between the start of construction in 1887 and the opening in 1894 these were the capital costs: It goes on to list them Along the bottom printed in black ink: FRONT COVER The steam Yacht Norseman leading a procession of boats which opened the Manchester Ship Canal in 1894 Inside right - white card printed in the centre in black ink: With our best wishes for Christmas and the New Year Above this is handwritten in blue ink: Thank you for your support Underneath is printed in black ink: Donald Redford (above this handwritten in blue ink L....)
